What is #DineJoziStyle?
#DineJoziStyle is a social media foodie meet-up / media launch that promotes restaurants online. It’s an experiential marketing tool that engages people through social media content, visuals, video, and influencers. Most important, it’s effective, fun, and delicious!

To date, we’ve hosted over 50 #DineJoziStyle meetups. Each one reached between 200,000 to 300,000 people online. On occasions, we’ve reached over 1M – 2M people.

#DineJoziStyle includes JoziStyle, a selection of influencers, and an online competition. #DineJoziStyle is a strong brand that has no rivals. Some foodie meetups that existed have fallen by the wayside because they never gained traction or couldn’t maintain longevity.

According to my analytics, most of my followers (JoziStylers!) are based in Sandton, Cape Town, and then the greater Johannesburg area. JoziStylers are either affluent, or aspirational, and some are relatively influential. It’s a close 50/50 split of male and female, mostly aged between 25 – 35, 35 – 45. JoziStylers are racially diverse and multi-cultural.

What is involved hosting a #DineJoziStyle?
The restaurant is responsible for food, drinks, and paying their staff.
Suppliers are open to co-sponsoring or sponsoring an event if they are included in the activation.
Guests are responsible for sharing their experience online through social media.
